FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is my Wi-Fi password safe to type here?

Yes. The code is generated in your browser. The network name and password go into the image on your device and are never sent to us.

Which phones can join Wi-Fi from a QR code?

iPhones since iOS 11 and Android phones since Android 10 with the normal camera app. Older Android phones may need Google Lens or a scanner app.

Does it work for WPA3 and hidden networks?

Yes. Choose WPA for WPA2 and WPA3, WEP for old routers, or None for open networks, and tick Hidden network if needed.

What if I change the password later?

Make a new code. For a code you can update without reprinting, use a live QR note instead.

Never spell out the password again.
